Haji Abdul Khaliq Maroof Abdul Khaliq Maruf (20110514, 20121007, 20130513, 20140415, 20150529) was wounded in a Taliban attack 20120729. 
It is said that in this event his three bodyguards have been martyred.  The event occurred in the outskirts of Hesarak district when the car of Hajji Abdul Khaliq Maroof came under attack by armed Taliban. On 20140521 suicide bomber walked into a district building in Hasarak in the eastern Nangarhar province and blew himself up, killing two civilians and wounded seven other people, including a senior district official Abdul Khaliq.
