3. Biodata:
Abdullah Botash Batash Mohammadullah Bataash is the son of Al-haj Bori, he was born in 1961 in the Batash village (other sources Durman village) of the Imam Sahib district in Kunduz province. He completed primary and secondary education in his native district in 1978. He earned Master's Degree from a Moscow university in Russia in 1985. Batash served at the Faculties of History, Journalism and Social Science Institute of the Kabul University. He received a Doctorate in Social Sciences in Russia and served as advisor to the Ministry for Parliamentary Affairs from 1995 to 2005 and secretary of Junbish-i-Milli. He served the LGCG as advisor on provincial councils and parliamentary affairs. Deputy Minister of Transport and Aviation Dr. Muhammadullah Batash (20091219), is from Kunduz and is backed by Rabbani.
A group of insurgents attacked a vehicular convoy carrying Abdullah Batash on 20121226. The gun attack took place in the evening when the motorcade of Mohammadullah Batash was passing through the Patah Babai area in Daulatabad district. The convoy was traveling from Maimana to Andkhowi district. He was confirmed as Minister by Wolesi Jirga. (20150418)
