3. Biodata:
Abdul Hamid Khorasani aka Khurasani Nasser Badri Abdul Hamid Khorasani. Born in Anabah district of Panjshir, but raised in Kabul’s northern Khairkhananeighbourhood, he became a policeman under the Republic but was eventually dismissed. He became active in militant politics after 2017; during the tent protest that followed the truck bombing of Charahi-ye Zambaq in Kabul, he launched a movement called Nezhat-e Islami-ye Moqawamat (the Islamic Front of Resistance), which criticised the government’s Western backingand raised the old green, white and black flag of Rabbani’s Islamic State of Afghanistan government. He occasionally received the support of elements of
the old Jamiati mujahedin establishment but developed an enmity with fellow Panjshiri, Amrullah Saleh, and was arrested in June 2019 for burning the Afghan national flag and other anti-government activities, as well as various common crimes
He is the leader of an illegal armed group in Panjshir. He was wounded in a clash with security officers.(20210812) Abdul Hamid Khorasani leads a movement called ‘Nahzat-e-Islami Muqawomat’. Khorasani is accused of murder, extortion, hostage-taking and drug smuggling. He got arrested 3 times by the Afghan government for illegal activities and 3-4 months ago when the Taliban's hadn't captured Afghanistan he was making videos on his YouTube channel and Twitter saying " I would die but not surrender to the Taliban's" "Panjsher is my home and every Talib that steps here will die" And now he has joined an alliance with the Taliban's before even fighting.
Local sources in Panjshir province say there has been an armed clash between Taliban forces and Abdul Hamid Khorasani’s men. According to sources, the clash took place after Taliban forces shot and killed a young man in the Anaba district of Panjshir today Sunday afternoon. Abdul Hamid Khorasani, security chief of the Taliban Police Command for Panjshir province, confirmed the news.(20211226)
Abdul Hameed Khurasani, chief of the security department of the central province of Panjshir, has been dismissed and been replaced by Atiqullah Sediqi, local officials said on Sunday.(20220320)
Officials in Panjshir said that Khurasani was dismissed for misusing his authority three months ago.
Khurasani in a video on social media said that he was dismissed by the provincial governor but his dismissal has yet to be signed by the Ministry of Interior (MoI). He accused the provincial governor of mistreating the residents of Panjshir and he urged the leadership of the Islamic Emirate to dismiss him. “I am saying it again. I am waiting for the order of the Islamic Emirate,” he said. “… I am not a personal soldier of Mawlavi Qudratullah (Panjshir's governor).”(20220321)

Abdul Hamid Khorasani, Tajik commander of the Taliban, says that the behaviour of the “Emirate’s leadership” towards non-Pashtun Taliban members is like that of “prisoners of war, slaves, and servants”. Khorasani stated, “This is not an Islamic Emirate, but rather an ethnic Emirate of the Kandahari and Zadran tribes.”(20240628)
As of 29 August 2024, Khorasani was reportedly detained by the Taliban on orders from Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Taliban’s Acting Prime Minister, following his controversial statements about Iran. Khorasani had previously referred to the Iranian government as “infidel and oppressive” and called on Afghan migrants to attack Iranians.
