3. Biodata:
karimi_abdul_rahimAbdul Rahim· Karimi, son of Mohammad Karim was born July 17, 1975 in Rostq District, Takhar Province. He received his primary education at Qizil Qala Primary School, Rostaq District of Takhar Province. Later his parents moved from Takhar Province to Kabul, where he graduated at Abu Hanifa High School, Bagrami, Kabul. He continued his studies and was awarded a Bachelor degree in Islamic Studies, Faculty of Sharia (Islamic law), Kabul University. His family migrated to Pakistan where he got a Masters Degree in political science at University of Science and Technology in Peshawar, Pakistan in 1981. Politically he is affiliated with the Northern Alliance.

Between 1992 and 2003 he officially visited various countries in Europe, the Middle East and the Central Asian Republics. He received 18 Medals during his visits. According to Presidential Decree No. (3627), dated 22.9.2007 he was promoted to the highest administrative rank.

He is married.

Karimi speaks Dari, Urdu, Arabic and some English.
