The cabinet of the Taliban interim government recently decided to dissolve ministry government in peace affairs, ministry of government in parliament affairs, Independent Election Commission, Independent Election Complaints Commission.(20211223)

Based on President Ghani’s decree, the new members of the Independent Electoral Complaints Commission are: 

•    Mohammad Qasim Elyasi, 48, Hazara, who got eight votes, is from Ghazni province. He has a PhD in philology. (selected for the period of five years)

•    Mrs. Zuhra Bayan Shinwari Zohra Bayan Shenwari, Pashtun, is from Parwan province and has a bachelor’s degree in law.(selected for the period of five years)

•    Mawlavi Din Mohammad Azimi Azemi, 44, Tajik, who got six votes, is from Ghor province. He has a master’s degree in criminology.(selected for the period of five years)

•    Mohammad Yunus Toghra Mohammad Younus Toghra Tughra, 42, Uzbek, who got eight votes, is from Faryab province. He has a master’s degree in administration.(selected for the period of three years)

•    Sayed Qutbuddin Roidad Sayed Qutbuddin Roydar, 39, Pashtun, who got seven votes, is from Paktia province and has a bachelor’s degree in religious sciences.(selected for the period of three years)
 

Based on President Ghani's decree, Chaman Shah Etemadi, 46,  Hazara, is the new head of the secretariat of the Independent Electoral Complaints Commission. He hails from Ghazni Province and has a bachelor’s degree in religious sciences.
