Mirwais Hussainkhel received 4,671 votes in 2018 Wolesi Jirga election and got a seat in WJ 2018.
 

Sayed Omar Hariq alleged ballot stuffing was committed in favorite of some candidates at four polling sites in Kandahar province. He named Mirwais Hussainkhel, a candidate who he said had only 218 votes, but the Independent Election Commission (IEC) counted 876 votes for him in his favor.
