Mullah Abdul Jalil Haqqani Wali Mohammad (alias (a) Abdul Jalil Akhund (b) Mullah Akhtar (c) Abdul Jalil Haqqani (d) Nazar Jan) was born1963 in Khwaja Malik village, Arghandab District, Kandahar Province, Afghanistan .He hails from Alizai tribe. Brother of Atiqullah Wali Mohammad. He was the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs under the Taliban regime. He is a Member of the Taliban Supreme Council as of May 2007, Member of the Financial Commission of the Taliban Council, Responsible for logistics for the Taliban and also active as a businessman in his personal capacity as at mid-2013.

Abdul Jalil Haqqani, the former deputy finance of Taliban was arrested from Spin Boldak district of Kandahar. He was arrested as he was attempting to cross the border with fake passport and travel to Pakistan.(20181210).
