The cabinet of the Taliban interim government recently decided to dissolve ministry government in peace affairs, ministry of government in parliament affairs, Independent Election Commission, Independent Election Complaints Commission.(20211223)

3 Rumi Din Mohammad Azimi, for five years;
4 Mohammad Younus Taqra, for three years;
5 Sayyid Qutbuddin Hadrian, for three years;
A foreign member of the Independent Electoral Complaints Commission (IECC), while heading the poll panel of Ghana, allegedly committed fraud and violated procurement laws in contracts.(20190610)
Afghanistan's Attorney General's Office announced the investigation late on February 12, 2019 after all 12 members of the Independent Election Commission (IEC) and Independent Electoral Complaints Commission (IECC) were sacked for allegedly abusing their authority. Now secretariat head Mohammad Setigh, from the IECC secretariat is in charge of the commission.(20190214)

ECC chief Abdul Aziz Aryaee, in a statement said that Deputy head of ECC secretariat (Humaira Haqmal) , head of analysis, head of human resources, records manager and manager of staff attendance were sacked during the commission’s meeting a week ago.
They were fired due to reasons including fraud in electronic attendance system, disobedience to presidential order, creating obstacles against reform plans and negligence. The issue has been shared with the Attorney General’s Office.(20171022) |
