Haji Sabir Khan Babakar Khel, son of Haji Nazim was born in 1968 in the village of Shamelkhel of Bak district in Khost province. He completed his primary and intermediate education in Bak High School, and later became a private businessman. Babakar Khel is familiar with construction. Babakar Khel lived as an immigrant in Pakistan and several Arab countries. He was indirectly elected to the Meshrano Jirga through the 2005 Provincial Council elections in Khost. He is married and has four children. He speaks Dari and Pashto.
