3.Biodata:
Haji Laiq, son of Haji Yarak, was born in Chamkanai district of Paktia province where he completed his education. He worked to encourage solidarity and peace in the country. He is the recipient of a letter of appreciation and a medal from the Provincial Council. Laiq was an elected representative to the Constitutional Loya Jirga. He was a presidential election observer. He was appointed a temporary senator to the Meshrano Jirga. Laiq traveled to Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

He speaks Dari and Pashto. He is not affiliated with any political party.

He is married and has 12 children.
