A number of registered media outlets in Afghanistan have come together and formed a radio and television union aimed at developing the industry and supporting freedom of expression in the country. The newly formed Afghanistan Radio and Television Union (ARTU) has been registered with the Ministry of Justice and will be officially inaugurated on Saturday June 13, 2015 in Kabul.- Last modified:
