Zalmai Rasoul Qayum Karzai Jirga Friday 21. Feb. 2014

List of 170 people who participated in a Jirga on 21. Feb. 2014 in Kabul charged with choosing whether Zalmai Rassoul or Qayoum Karzai would continue a bid for the Presidency. Both candidates reportedly agreed to accept the Jirga's decision. 

According to sources inside the Jirga, 20 members - all tribal elders - had the final say on the Jirga's ruling and represented 12 provinces and eight tribes. The tribes included the Quaraish, Momand, Safi, Popalzai, Ahmadzai, Hussain Khail, Alakozay and Eshaq Zai tribes.

The names of those 20 members are as follows:

This Jirga was led by Muhammad Ameen Mujaddadi, with Qazi Muhammad Amin serving as Deputy.
