3. Biodata:
Alhaj Ezatullah Atif was born 1960 in  Paghman district of Kabul province.  He has a baccalaureate from Abu Hanifa Madrasa.Atif graduated from twelfth class in Khwaja Musafer High School in Paghman district, Kabul, in 2003.

He was commander of Division 10 during the Burhanuddin Rabbani regime (1992-1996) and was involved in the jihad aganst the Soviets. He is a member of the Hizb Jamiyat Islami.

He has 23 bodyguards. (legally only being allowed to have four in his capacity as a Wolesi Jirga Member). (20120516)

Commission (2012): Defense and Territorial Affairs

There are six Wolesi Jirga Members whose active membership in the parliament was to be put on hold for two month because absenteeism of 21 days. Lawmakers suspended are the following: Amanullah Guzar from Kabul, Farishta Anwari from Nimroz, Muhammad Ishaaq Rahguzar from Balkh, Ezatullah Atif from Kabul, Faridoon Momand from Nangarhar, and Alam Khan Azadi from Balkh.(20160531)
