Wafa_Ashequllah Hajji Ashuqullah Ashequllah Ashiqullah Wafa was born 1969 in Pul-i-Khumri District, Baghlan Province. Wafa graduated with a twelfth class certificate from high school in Baghlan province in 1983.

Wafa is a businessman and owns a fuel company. He is currently (2012) building a private university and gym in Baghlan province.

20111121 delisted from Wolesi Jirga Eelection 2010 due to fraud. He initially bagged 6.029 votes which were declared zero. However he will replace sitting Wolesi Jirga MNA MP Muhammad Zahir Ghani after a Independent Election Commission Decision 20110821.

Late Tuesday night 23 Sept 2014 in Kelagai area, Baghlan Province, a group of militants attacked the vehicle of Aashiqullah Wafa while he was returning to capital Kabul.

A security guard of Mr. Wafa was injured following the attack.(20140924)
