Mawlawi Saeedurrahman Sayed ur Rahman was born 1969 in Lagman Province. He is a Pashtun Sunni and associated with Sayyaf. In Wolesi Jirga Elections 2005 he bagged most votes in Lagman Province. He is a secretary of the Wolesi Jirga Counter Narcotics Committee. He received a BA in Islamic Affairs from Kabul University and was a conservative Madrassa teacher originally from Alinghar. He resides now in Metherlam (Laghman Province).
