3. Biodata:
Majroh_GhulamGhulam Farooq Majrooh Ghulam Farooq Majroh, son of Haji Shirin Del, was born in 1955 in Injeal district of Herat province. Majrooh graduated with a twelfth class certificate from Dar-e Ulom High School, Herat.

Ghulam Faruq Majroh belongs to the Zoori ethnic group and is affiliated with Jamiat-e- Islami.Majrooh has experience working in government offices. From 1992 to the middle of 1995, he served as chief of the Sixth Police Department in Herat; from 2001 to 2004 as the chief of military security in the 17th Police Department in Herat. Majrooh ran unsuccessfully for parliament in 2005, gaining 5,438 votes. From 2006 to 2010 he held the position of governor of Gulran district.
 

He participated in the 2003 Constitutional Loya Jirga and was also a representative from Herat province in the Peace Jirga.

Mohammad Hashim, who represents northern Faryab,  is a member of a newly-created “National Unity" group (the 9th group) in Wolesi Jirga to protect “the national interests” and promote “national unity.” A lawmaker from western Herat province, Ghulam Farooq Majroh, had been appointed as head of the group, Kabul MP Farhad Saddiqi as his deputy and female lawmaker from southwestern Nimroz province, Fareshta, as secretary.(20140120)

Ghullam Farooq Majroh received 7,004 votes in Wolesi Jirga 2018 election and got a seat in WJ 2018.
 

He is married and has two daughters and three sons.
 

Majrooh speaks Dari and Pashto.
