3. Biodata:
Majeedi_GulGul Badshah Majidi Gul Padsha Majeedi Majedi Gulpadschah was born 1964 in Zazi Aryub District, Paktia Province.

Majedi graduated from Noor Muhammad Shah Mina High School in Kabul. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English Literature at Kabul University, and studied law at the University of Karachi, Pakistan.

Majedi is a member of foundations working with youth, specifically the Majedi Foundation, of which he is the head after having established in 2011. Majedi runs his own business. He also works as a chairperson of the National Society of the southern zone and as an executive member of Hezb-e-Muhaz Milli Islami party. He is also deputy of the Committee for Paktia Rehabilitation in Germany. He has been the head of the Paktia Construction Organization since 1992.

He was the chairman of the Committee on Rights and Immunity in Wolesi Jirga 2005. Gul Pacha Majidi was a lawmaker once close to Karzai. He was reelected with most votes in Paktia.

During Wolesi Jirga 2010 election Gul Pasha Majidi promised to finalize the procedures for securing a piece of land for a cricket ground from the local authorities in Paktia. His  late attention to cricket  however might have been a part of his election campaign.

Five members of parliament would run for the first deputy speaker on Saturday, 05. March 2011 after two candidates failed for a third time to win the required number of votes. Gul Pacha Majidi from Paktia and Abdul Rahman Rahmani from Balkh are the main runners for the slot. The two are busy canvassing MPs.

“Unfortunately the Afghan government was not able to secure its nation and its borders and I think it’s better for Karzai to resign and make way for a president who can tackle this problem,” says Gul Pacha Majeedi, a member of parliament from Paktya province.(20110719)

A suicide attack on Gul Pacha Majidi left three people killed and eight others including the MP wounded in the jurisdiction of 8th police district of Kabul city late Sunday (20150329) afternoon.
 

He is married and has one daughter and four sons.
