Ahmadzai_AliHaji Sher Ali Ahmadzai, son of Haji Nazir, was born in 1979 in Bagrami district, Kabul
province. Ahmadzai left school with a twelfth class certificate from the Altakwa School in Peshawar, Pakistan.

Ahmadzai’s second brother, Haji Enayatullah, is the leader of the Ahmadzai Kuchis.

Ahamdzai is a businessman and is contracted to deliver fuel to the International
Security Assistance Force (ISAF).

Shir Ali Ahmadzai is a resident of Nangahar Province. He is a ethnic Pashtun from Kuchi tribe. He said there are groups comprising 10,000 armed men in Nangahar Province and they belonged to former jihadi leaders. He said if the gangs were not busted, they would take control of government land and departments.(20111004)

There was a clash in the night from Oct. 03 to 04, 2011 between fighters of MP Sher Ali Ahmadzai and Hajji Jamal Qadir, the head of the provincial council, near a filling station on the Jalalabad-Torkham highway in Behsud district, Nangahar Province. One of Qadir's drivers was killed and two of his guards injured when armed men fire on his vehicle.
