Jamshedi_Abdul_HadiAbdul Hadi Jamshidi is the son of Mohammad Esmael and was born 1961 in Rubat Sangi District, Herat Province. Jamshedi completed his early education, up to ninth class, at the Char Dara School, Rubat Sangi district in 1977. He completed the ninth to eleventh classes at the Rahman Baba High School of Kabul. After this, he immigrated to Iran, living there for twelve years until 1993. In 2008, he was able to continue studies and received his twelfth class certificate in Islamic studies.

Upon his return to Afghanistan from Iran in 1993, Jamshedi joined the Mujahideen and was offered the position of Rubat Sangi District Prosecutor after the fall of the Najib Regime. He declined the offer, as he was pursuing his agriculture business.

Jamshedi was elected to the 2005 parliament with 8,615 votes. He served on the Complaints and Petitions commission during this term.

Jamshedi was selected as a representative to the Emergency Loya Jirga from Herat province in 2002, and a representative of the Afghanistan Constitutional Loya Jirga in 2003. Jamshedi lost his brother when insurgents attacked his campaign in 2010.

In Robat Sangi district of western Herat province a group of militants attacked the vehicles convoy of Abdul Hadi Jamshidi. At least two security guards of the lawmaker were killed following the incident. Jamshidi escaped the attack unhurt.(20140326)

Jamshidi is married and has six sons and one daughter.
