Abdul Manan Shiway-e Sharq Shiway Sharq hails from Kabul. He was a unsuccessful Wolesi Jirga candidat, was a political activist and member of Mehwar-e-Mardum-e-Afghanistan. He was appointed Deputy Minister of Information and Culture on Publication Affairs (20200209).

Unidentified gunmen attacked Sharq’s car at around 11am in front of the Kabul University Gate. Sharq was not in the car, but his driver was injured and taken to the hospital.(20200708)
