3.Biodata:
faqiri_nazarHaji Mohammed Faqir Haji Nazar Mohammad Faqeeri, son of Haji Hazrat Mohammed, was born in 1955 in the village of Faqi in Pul-e-Khumri, Baghlan. He entered school in 1961 and completed his primary and secondary education and completed the twelfth grade in schools in Bagh-e-Shamal and Pul-e Khumri. Faqiri traveled to Pakistan in 1980 where he lived as a refugee. During that time, he served as the head of two refugee camps that housed thousands of families. He is also a tribal leader in Baghlan. Faqiri speaks Pashto and Dari and is skilled in agriculture and animal husbandry. He was appointed 2005 and reppointed 2011 by the President to the Meshrano Jirga. He is a member of the Ethnical/Tribal, Frontiers, Refugees and Koochies (Nomads) Committee.

Senator Faqir Mohammad Nazari tried to steal 204 tonnes of wheat without informing the delegation, said the Baghlan ANDMA provincial chief, Naseer Ahmad Kohzad. But Senator Faqiri said he received permission from 1st Vice-President Marshal Qaseem Fahim for shifting the wheat. “I took the wheat to Baghlan-i-Markazi district, but the Kuchis there have migrated to the northern part of Salang, so I wanted to distribute it there.”(20130717)

Nazar Mohammad Faqiri, a former senator, has been sentenced to one year and six months in jail and fined 1,214,000 afghanis in a wheat scam. (20210523)
