3. Biodata:
Samimullah Sultani hails from Jalabad, Nangahar Province. He went to Pakistan and studied at Maulana Jami Highschool in Peshawar, Pakistan. He later studied at the University of Wales and was awarded master of business adminstration (MBA).

The reason he was dismissed as Deputy Minister by President  Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai was due to his tenure of more than 5 years in this position. The Administrative Affairs Office of the President circulated a circular that any Deputy Minister who has served more than five years would be replaced or had to leave their Jobs.

He was a Wolesi Jirga 2018 Election candidate for Kabul city and bagged 223 votes. He did not get a seat in WJ 2018. He was an co-author of the ANDS document for the period 2008-2013.

Sultani is married and has four children.

He speaks Pashtu, Urdu and English.
