Qari Abdul Zahir Tamim Abdul Zaher Tamim was born in 1981 in a religious family in Madrasa village, Feroz Koh, capital of Ghor province. He began his education from the same village and tool lessons in Holy Quran. He later emigrated to Iran where he continued his education and memorized the holy Quran. Upon the establishment of Interim government in Afghanistan, he returned to thr country and began his 10th grade at the Abu Hanifa school in Kabul. After clearing the Kankor examination, he bagged a seat in the Sharia faculty of Herat university and obtained his BA in Fiqah and law in 2009.


His work experience includes working in the Neda-e-Zan organization and in the election commission. He also served as a district governor of Taywarah district, Ghor province for seven years. He is an ethnic Tajik and has been an independent candidate in 17th round of parliament (2018).

Abdul Zaher Tamim received 6.175 votes in Wolesi Jirga 2018 election and got a seat in WJ 2018.

“Unfortunately, recently, there is some evidence that indicates that the NPA has changed into the heart of corruption, and it is headed by Mr. Ashraf Ghani,” said Abdul Zahir Tamim. (20190924)
