Dr Abdul Latif Nazari hails from Ghazni, holds a PhD in international relations from Tehran University, Iran, and is the founder of Eslahat Newspaper and the head of the board of founders of private Gharjestan University. Nazari was a 2018 parliamentary candidate from Kabul, but did not win a seat. Nazari was previously a member of Hezb-e Wahdat-e Mardom led by Muhammad Mohaqeq.
