3. Biodata:
Eng Kamal Safi, son of Sawdagar, was born in 1973 in the Dasht Archi district of Kunduz province. Kamal completed his secondary education at Abdullah Bin Masoud Higher Secondary School in Pakistan in 1987. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Engineering and Technology of Teksela (Islamabad, Pakistan) in 1994. He has a master’s degree in Leadership and Management Skills Development from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), which he earned in 2007. Kamal participated in social, civic and political activities during and after his studies and has worked primarily with NGOs. He was a member of the Blood Donation Society, manager of the Afghan Immigrants Camp in Pakistan, and director of the north zone of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) in Wadan, Afghanistan. He is also a member of UNITAR in Afghanistan.

Safi received 2,276 votes in Wolesi Jirga election 2018 and got a seat in WJ 2018.


He is married and has three children.

 

He speaks Pashto, Dari, Urdu and English.
