3. Biodata:

Ghulam Sarwar Saadat was born in 1969 in Warsaj district of Takhar province. Due to the war in Afghanjstan, Saadat wasn’t able to attend any formal school but managed to receive religious education in Kunduz, Takhar. He later obtained his bachelor’s degree in Sharia in 1992. He is an ethnic Tajik and it is the first time that he has been elected to the Afghan parliament. Saadat has founded the Rah-e-Saadat university in Mazar-i-Sharif and also has a publication by the name of “Sadat Publication” in Kabul and Balkh provinces.
 

He doesn’t hold membership in political parties and was an independent candidate for the parliamentary elections.
 

Ghulam Sarwar Saadat got 6,851 votes in Wolesi Jirga 2018 election and secured a seat in WJ 2018.
