Dr. Timor Sharan Teymour Sharan Timur Sharan was born 1984 in Bamyan province, Afghanistan. He migrated to U.K. There he was awarded B.A. International Relations and Politics in Developing World, Uniiversity Exeter,

He received his Ph.D. in Governance and Politics from the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom in 2013.  He was a Agha Khan Foundation Scholar.

He holds a british Passport.

He speaks Dari, Pashtu, Uzbek, Turkish and English
