Shah Amanullah Khan Ghazi hospital in Kabul is mainly dedicated for the treatment of the Afghan national security forces particularly the Afghan intelligence operatives (NDS).

3. Biodata:
Maj Gen Dr Hashmatullah Nawabi was trained by French surgeons at the French Medical Institute for Children in Kabul. To mark the occasion, Dr Nawabi carried out a relatively simple closed heart operation in front of the media. The doctor, who had previously trained in the Soviet Union and worked in Germany, has been deemed capable of performing complex operations alone. Maj. Gen. Dr. Hashmatullah Nawabi suggested in connection with construction of a 100-bed Military cardiology hospital in Kabul’s Afshar to change Ghazi Amanullah Khan Hopital to a sample hospital in the country hoping that the NDS hospital would be soon changed to a standard hospital.(20191005)
