3. Biodata Saleem Khan Kunduzi
Saleem Khan Kundozi was born on15th of March 1974 in Mirshiek Village of Ali Abad District, Kunduz Provice. During his stay as a refugee in Pakistan, He completed his F.Sc from Islamia College Peshawer and then his B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. (Hons) in the field of Agriculture Economics from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. During his studies, Mr. Kundozi conducted research on the economic analysis of apple production and marketing constraints. Throughout his academic life, he was member of Union of International Students and was also involved with the UNHCR and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB).

Over the past several years, worked in the fields of Financial Management, budget formulation and execution, donor coordination and policies related to grants and loans, sector policies/strategies and the Afghanistan National Development Strategy (ANDS), most particularly in relation to the agriculture and rural development sector.

He was appointed Sector Manager of the Agriculture and Rural Rehabilitation Sector (Budget Department) in the Ministry of Finance.

Kundozi later joined the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock as Director General of Finance and Administration before being appointed as Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration.

Muhammad Salim Khan Kunduzi's convoy came under attack. He intended to visit Torkham border with some other high local officials when their convoy was attacked in momand dara area, as exchange of fires continued.(20150610)

‘Technocrat’ Salim Khan Kunduzi is also nephew to the deputy leader of National Security Advisor Atmar’s Rights and Justice Party.

Salim Khan Kunduzi has resigned from his position due to non-cooperation and interference in his works. The resignation of Kunduzi needs to be approved by the President before he officially quite his position.(20161002)
