Ahmad Ali Hazrat, head of Nanagarhar provincial council (20160201, 20170607)

1. Ahmad Ali:
Son of former Jihadi leader Hazrat Ali, Ahmad Ali belongs to Kashmond village of Qarghayo district of eastern Laghman province.
Born in 1984, his ancestors settled in the Dara-i-Noor district of Nangarhar province. Ali had a private business and never served as government official. He has bachelor degree in Law. Ahmad Ali Hazrat said Taliban are seeking an interim government in line Pakistan’s direction. He made the statement after Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, the deputy head of Taliban’s political office in Doha, called for the resignation of President Ashraf Ghani at a news conference in Moscow.(20210202)

2. Lal Mohammad Durrani:
Lal Mohammad Durrani is the son of Haji Shah Wali. He is the resident of Roghano village of district Rudad.
Durrani was born in 1978 and graduated from medical faculty. He was secretary in the previous tenure of Provincial Council.
Durani is a dentist he works at his clinic in part times.

3. Shams-ur-Rehman Muslimyar:
Son of Haji Mohammad, Muslimyar was born in 1987 in the Dawlatzai village of chaparhar district in eastern Nangarhar province.
He has undergraduate degree in law and currently doing master degree in law from Nangarhar University.
Earlier, he had his own business. He has no political affiliation.

4. Ustad Israrullah Murad:
Israrullah Murad is the son of Mohammad Murad and brother of former Provincial Council Member Ibrarullah Murad. Isarullah Murad is the resident of Kama district. He was born in 1964. He is undergraduate in law from Ariana University. Before making his way to provincial council, Israrullah Murad was director of Afghan Murad Private High School.

5. Iftikhar Momand:
Son of fairoz Khan Momand, Iftikhar Momand was born in 1975 in the Goshti district. It is his second time to be elected as provincial council member. Momand was a leading tribal elder before electing as people’s representative. He studied up to 12th class.

6. Sohrab Qadari:
Sohrab Qadari is the son of former jihadi commander Ghulam Qadir. Born in 1976 in the Dara-i-Noor district, he lives in his hometown.
Earlier, he worked in the custom office and worked as director of Spin Ghar Hotel. Qadari studied up till 12th class.

7. Dr. Mohammad Nasir Kamawal:
Dr. Mohammad Nasir Kamawal belongs to Kama district. He was born in 1978 in the same district. He completed his primary education in Peshawar, Pakistan and returned back to his home country for higher education. He studied in Shaikh Zahid University in southeastern Khost province. He is a medical doctor. Also, he ran his construction company before making his way into provincial council.

Son of Haji Zaman Ghmashrik, Javed Zaman Ghamsharik was born in 1982 in the Khugyano district. He has bachelor degree in law. Earlier, he served in the provincial council and again he made his way to the provincial council in the April 5 elections as well.

Zabihullah Zmari is the son of Asadullah. He was born in 1973 in the Behsud district. He has bachelor degree. Also, he ran his own business before electing to provincial council. It is the second time that Zmari made his way to the provincial council.

Son of Noor Agha, Haji Abdullah Malakzai known as Lala Khan was born in 1978 in the Khiwi district. He studied up to 12th class and worked with foreign troops before electing as provincial council member.

Ashab Wali Muslim is the son of Hamisha Gul. He was born in 1986 in the Durbaba district.
He studied up to 12th class and served as head of Shamshad Civil Society in Torkham. He has not political affiliation.

12. Abdul Qahar Qadir:
Son of former Jihadi leader Haji Qadir Arsala, Abdul Qahar Qadir is the resident of Hisarak district. He was born in 1976.
He studied up to 12th class and made his way to the provincial council for second time. Earlier, he had his own business.Abdul Qahar Qadir, a member of the Nangarhar provincial council, and a civilian were wounded in an explosion on Saturday Feb 27, 2021.

13. Obaidullah Shinwari:
Oabiduallah Shinwari is the son of Wafiullah Shinwari. He was born in 1982 in the Nazian district. Shinwari is under graduate degree in history. He had his own business before electing as provincial council member.

14. Haji Mohammad Ajmal Umar:
Son of Mohammad Anwar, Haji Mohammad Ajmal Umar is the resident of Kodikhel village in Sherzad district.
Ajmal Umar has bachelor degree in economics from a Pakistani university and served as tribal elder before making his way to the provincial council.

15. Haji Lutfullah Baba:
Son of Mohammad Siddique, Lutfullah Baba is the resident of Rudad district. He was born in 1971.  He received 12th class diploma from Abdul Wakil High School. Later, he joined Nangarhar teacher training institute. He is the member of Dawat-i-Islami political party and served as representative of Nangarhar people in the Mesharano Jirga.

Daughter of Mohammad Kabir, Angiza Shinwari is the resident of Achin district. She was born in 1979 and worked as a journalist till she made her way to the provincial council.
Shinwari has bachelor degree in literature from Nangarhar University. She served as member of the provincial council in the previous tenure as well.

17. Mrs. Habibia Kakar Qazi Zada:
Habibia Kakar is the daughter of Mohammad Zahid. She was born in 1968 in Behsud district. She was in charge of women affairs for Nangarhar province during Dr. Najibullah regime.
She served as teacher and provincial council member in the first tenure.
Habibia Kakar had served as an advisor to the former Nangarhar governor Gul Agha Sherzai. She has bachelor degree in literature and worked as part time teacher.

Daughter of Haji Mohammad Kazim, Nilofar Aziz was born in 1970. She originally belongs to Paktia province but after married to a person in Sararoad district she had to shift to Nangarhar province. Nilofar had served as provincial council member in the previous tenure as well. She served as teacher before electing to provincial council. She has no political affiliation.
