3. Biodata:
Gen Sayed Agha Saqib Sayed Aqa Saqeeb is a Pashtun and hails from Jalalabad, Nangahar Province. When he was the Kandahar Provincial Police Commander, he was fired amid suspicions that he played a part in the spectacular escape in June 2008 of hundreds of Taliban from local Sarposa prison in Kandahar City.

Industrial workers, moneychangers, doctors, jewellers and traders went on a strike in protest against the rising kidnappings in the province. They demanded the replacement of police head Brig. Gen. Syed Aqa Saqib. He was fired 20120807 because of rising kidnappings and other security related problems in the province.
