Dr. Shah Waliullah Adib Wali Ullah Adeeb, Governor of Badakhshan according to our sources is a member of Jamiat Islami Party (Burhanuddin Rabbani).

Governor Shah Wali-ullah Adeeb and NDS chief Ali Ahmad Mubaraz were attacked by militants in the Bashand area of the Ordoj district after returning from visits to Shkasham, Wakhan, and Zebak districts. Taliban insurgents ambushed his entourage at around 11 a.m. local time 20110620.  As a result, one policeman was injured.
