3. Biodata:
koochi_naimHaji Naim Kuchi, Naeem Kuchi, Mohammad Naeem Kuchi was born 1940 in Logar Province and belongs to the Pashtun Ahmadzai tribe. He was arrested 20030101 by US Forces· in Sang-e Naweshta, Char Asiab-District, Kabul Province when he was on his way to e meeting with President Karzai.· He then was held in extrajudicial detention in the United States's Guantanamo Bay detention camps, in Cuba. His Guantanamo Internment Serial Number was 931. It wasn't until early 2005 that a military review board determined Kuchi did not pose a security risk and could be transferred back to Afghanistan.

Koochi is a senior tribal leader within Afghanistan's Kuchis ethnic group. He got very famous during the afghan war against soviets, emerging as a grand commander. During former President Burhanuddin Rabbani's government (1992–1996), Naim Kochi became Deputy Minister for Tribal Affairs. He also became the governor of Bamiyan province during Taliban's regime. The Edmonton Sun described him as the Kuchis' "best known leader". It is said Na’im Kuchi is the Taleban’s unofficial representative at the UN.
 

His son Haji Haider Jan Naimzoi, (Kuchi) is a member of Wolesi Jirga 2010.

Salim Naeem, is a son of the late Naeem Kuchi.(20240226)
