International Association of Muslim Youth is a suborganisation of the WAMY World Association of Muslim Youth which is under heavy Saudi Wahabi influence. This Organisation is active in Nangahar, Paktia, Kunar und Nuristan Provinces in Afghanistan. In Paktia Province WAMY operated from 1995 - 2004 a hospital (Chamkani District Hospital) in Chamkani District. Chamkani is not far from the Afghan-Pakistan border.

Assistance from the International Association of Muslim Youth was distributed to 1,100 children in Batikot, Shinwari, Momand Dara and Rodad districts and Jalalabad. Faizanullah Mukhlis, the association's head for the Nangarhar chapter said each student  received 3,210 afghanis a year as pocket money. The children, including 110 girls, will also receive textbooks, clothes, sport equipment, shoes, and stationary.(20110530) The distribution was formally launched at the Angor Bagh Rehabilitation Centre in Jalalabad under the supervision of social affairs and economic departments' officials.
