3. Biodata:
farhad_arian2Farhad Arian (a.k.a. Ariyan) was born 28. March 1981 in Kabul, Afghanistan. He has completed his undergraduate studies at Kabul University in the fields of Political Science and International Law. His Bachelor Degree thesis focused on a comparative study of the United States foreign policy between the years 1988 and 2006. Farhad Arian has broadly written on legal, political and social issues in Afghanistan, Pakistan and the Middle East. He has particularly published several commentaries and articles aiming to analyse the post-9/11 socio-political situation of Afghanistan. Prior to joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he was a Legal Consultant to the General-Directorate of the National Radio/Television of Afghanistan. Farhad Arian is currently undertaking a Master of Arts in International Relations at the Australian National University (ANU). He is a former Deputy Director of the Office of Human Rights and Women’s International Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.
