3. Biodata:
Zaki_NazifaGeneral Nafiza Zaki daughter of Shamsuddin was born 1964 in Faizabad City, Badakshan Province, but currently living in Kabul City. Zaki completed her secondary education at Makhfi Badakhshi High School in Badakhshan 1981. She entered the Roshan Teacher Training Institute in Kabul, then followed her interest in the Afghan National Police to attend the Police Criminal Academy (six month training), and graduated from the academy in 1982. While living in Tajikistan, Zaki was the head of the Afghan Immigrant Women in Tajikistan Association, and served on the Afghan Immigrants Committee in Tajikistan.

She is currently (2012) in her second year of Law studies at the Karwan private university in Kabul.

Zaki supports the First Vicepresident Fahim. Her sister Zakia Zaki was a radio station director  who was killed in 2007. Abdul Ahad Ranjbar, Zakia Zakis husband, said she received threats shortly before her murder on 6 June 2007, but she only told her sister.

Zaki is a outspoken Karzai critic: “I don’t accept the Traditional Loya Jirga TLG, it is not constitutional.” Ms. Gen. Nazifa Zaki (Kabul) declared in the Lower House.

Nafiza Zaki and MP Hamida Ahmadzai (pro Karzai), both female members of the Afghanistan Parliament, got into a physical fight 20110705 following a discussion in Wolesi Jirga. Nazifa Zaki, who brawled with Nomads’ representative Hamida Ahmadzai, apologized her colleague, but Ahmadzai did not accept it.(20110711)

Nazifa Zaki is married with three daughters and three sons.

Zaki received 1,197 votes in Wolesi Jirga 2018 election and got a seat in WJ 2018.
