3. Biodata:
Taiba Zahedi Taiba Zahidi Tayba Tiba Zahedi Tayaba Zahdi, daughter of Abdul Jabar, was born in 1959 in the village of Hawz-e Karbas of Injil district in Herat province. She completed her higher education in 1978 at Kabul University, where she studied social science and literature.

From 1992 to 2002, she served as the director of Amir Ali Sher Naway High School in Herat. She also served as director of Radio Sahar, a women's-run radio station in Herat (Radio Sahar). Zahedi was an elected representative to the Emergency and Constitutional Loya jirgas. In 2005, she served as the director of Herat's labor and social affairs department. Zahedi is a recipient of Loya Jirga medals and several certificates and letters of appreciation.

She is versed in social science and education. Sen. Zahedi lived in Iran for four years. She visited Germany for 15 days and visited Japan for three weeks as a guest of JICA. In 2005, she traveled to Iran and Pakistan. She was appointed to the Meshrano Jirga by the President. Taiba Zahidi was a member and the Chairperson of the Public Welfare and Environment Commission 2005.

She is a member of the Public Welfare Affairs, Natural Resources and Environment (Health. Labor and Worker, Sports, Red Crescent and Administrative Reforms) Commission.
