Sayee AlimMohammed Aleem Sayee Alim Alem Mohammed Aleem Sayee Mohammad Aalem Saae is a former member of Wolesi Jirga from northern Takhar province, he stepped into office on 9 May 2010. He studied theology and then took his masters' degree in the field of history in Turkey. Sayee is associated with Junbish-e-Milli (Abdul Rashid Dostum) said Kilid and is a powerful warldord.

The second Parliamentary Group established in Wolesi Jirga is named Nezarat-e-Milli (National Monitoring). The Leader of this Group is Engineer Mohammad Asim, former member of Hezb-e-Islami, member of the newly established National United Front and MP from Baghlan. The Spokesman of this Group is Mohammad Alim Sayee, MP from Takhar province. This Group has 21 MPs as members.


“Dostum, along with [parliamentarians] Hashem Ortaq and Alem Sayee attacked the house of Akbar Bay, leader of the Turkic Council, while they were drunk. They were accompanied by 60 to 70 armed men, who beat Akbar Bay and one of his sons,” said Bashiri. “Dostum left the scene when the police arrived, and Akbar Bay was taken to hospital.” Dostum, along with Parliamentarians Hashem Ortaq and Alem Syee attacked in Kabul the house of Akbar Bay, leader of the Turkic Council, while they were drunk. Jawzjan governor, Mohammad Alim Sayee, said that General Dostum wants to destabilize north of the country and distributes weapons to his supporters illegally. Governor Saee urged the central government to prevent such illegal activities otherwise the northern part of the country will be destabilized. A Junbish-e-Milli party spokesperson confirmed distribution of weapons to the supporters [members] of Junbish-e-Milli party, which Gen Dostum heads, and said that it was aimed at maintenance of security and not against the government.(20130619)

 

Following sustained protests in Sheberghan, the provincial governor, Mohammad Alem Saee, left the province 20130624 and headed to Kabul. Saee said that he would stay in Kabul until the crisis ends and that he had appointed Abdul Rahman Mahmoodi as the acting governor. “This is my own decision and there has been no pressure on me to make such a decision,” said Saee.
