3. Biodata
Mrs. Sabrina Saqeb was born 1979 in Kabul Province. She was a member of the Committee on women affairs in Wolesi Jirga 2005. She was the Western-leaning head of the National Basketball Association of Afghanistan. The Afghan National Olympic Committee nominated and approved Sabrina Saqib for Wushi as one of six members of the NOC Board of Directors. Sabrina Saqeb, who is one of the youngest MPs said: "Politics in Afghanistan is very risky. Especially if you are a woman talking about women's rights, human rights or anything to do with Islam." According to Sabrina Saqeb, female parliamentarians in Afghanistan are more concerned about their local districts and the problems faced by the people there. They have tried to improve things in the villages where people are really poor and it is very difficult to access those villages. Their efforts to reach out to remote and deprived areas have made them very popular with the local population. Sabrina Saqeb, who won parliamentary polls 2005, did not run for the 2010 Wolesi Jirga Election.

Saqeb is not married.
