3. Biodata:
Samiullah Samim was born in 1978 in Anar Dara district, Farah province. Samim graduated from Gawhar Shad High School in 1999. Samim then began his studies at the Secondary Medical Institution at the University of Herat but was unable to complete his course due to the
Taliban’s rise to power in Afghanistan.

Samim has worked primarily as a businessman in the medical field in connection with his family’s business, where he worked from 1992 through 2001. More recently, he founded and ran the Arian Bakhtar Forma company – also in the medical field – and now holds shares in partnership with the Nawi Brothers Sarwari company.

Samim has founded the Youth Foundation, established in 2003 in Herat; the Arya Assembly, established in 2007 in Kabul; and the Harmony Council, established in 2008 in Herat. Currently, Samim is working to establish a youth foundation in Farah.

Samiullah Samim is an independent Wolesi Jirga 2010 member. He said: "The time has come for the implementation of article 69 (i.e. impeachment)  of the constitution. The President wants to drag the country to instability, not stability. (20110705).

He is married with one son and one daughter. 

 He speaks Dari and  Pashto.
