3.Biodata:
Qazi (Judge) Rahila Raheela Salim was born 1969 in Darah District, Panjshir Province. She has a B.A. in Law and political science from Kabul University 1988. Salim worked as a master trainer in women’s rights from an Islamic point of view with the Afghan Women’s Network (AWN). She has 17 years experience on the Supreme Court and Attorney Generals Ofiice. Politically she is close to Qanooni, allthough she claimed to be independent. She was a member of the Committee on legislative affairs ‎in Wolesi Jirga 2005. Salim was reelected on 20100918. She is close to Jamiat-e-Islami.
Salim was elected to parliament in 2005.

Salimi stood for the Wolesi Jirga 2010 for the frist Deputy Speaker's slot on 20110305. She received 57 votes and did not win the required majority of votes.
