3. Biodata:
sajadi_dr_abdul_qayumDr. Abdul Qayoum Qayoom Sajadi is the Son of Saeed Hakim and was born 1970 in Qarabagh District, Ghazni province, but lives in Kabul now. He migrated to Iran following the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Over the next 12 years, he studied Islamic teachings and obtained a Master’s degree in political sociology and a Doctorate in international relations from Tehran University. He taught for five years in an Iranian university and returned home after the fall of the Taliban. Sajadi completed his secondary education in Iran. He holds a bachelor’s degree and PhD in Law and Political Science, with an International Relations specialty, as well as a PhD equivalent in Islamic Studies, all of which he earned at university in Iran.
 

He was a university teacher, researcher and writer, director of Fager Umid, Faselnama and Gufteman Naw magazines.
 

He is the head of the Khatam-ul-Nabeen Private Institute of Higher Education. He has also held editorial roles, including the Editor-in-Chief of “Fajre Omid”, a monthly publication, and Editor-in-Chief of “Guftuman-e-Naw”, an academic quarterly publication. Sajadi is also the founder of the Afghan Center for Strategic Studies, a research institute in Kabul. Sajjadi is a writer.


Sajadi won a seat as an MP for Ghazni province in 2005 with 9258 votes. During that term, he served on the International Affairs commission.

Sajadi participated in the Constitutional Loya Jirga in 2003.
