3. Biodata:
Sadat_FahimaMrs. Ustad Fahima Sadaat, daughter of Sayed Abdul Ghafor, was born 1972 in Jowzjan Province. Sadat graduated from twelfth class at the Khadija Jowzjani High School, then attained her fourteenth class certificate from the Teacher Training Institute of Jowzjan. She is currently (2012) a student in the fourth class at the Law Faculty of Sadrudin Aini University in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

Sadat worked as a teacher before the Taliban came to power. She has also worked at the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and with the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) in Mazar-i-Sharif during the 2004 election.

Sadat has been a member of the board of directors of a cultural organization in Jowzjan since 2004. She is also the head and founder of Rah-e Sabz (Green Way), a cultural organization that she established in 2010. She founded a library in Jowzjan in the same year.

She is an Independent Wolesi Jirga Member. Ustad Fahima Sadat, was the woman in charge of civil programmes of the Mazar-e Sharif-based UNAMA [United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan] in the 2004 election section. On the 24th of January 2008, Fahima Sadaat, MP from Jawzjan reported about her findings in her respected province on behalf of their provincial MPs in the Lower House. She complained about the lack of public projects, increasing basic commodity prices, lack of paved roads, lack of bridges, drug cultivation, low wages of public employees, lack of attention by officials of the Ministry of Health in providing health services, stealing of precious stones, trafficking of historical heritage by irresponsible people, poverty, unemployment and the addiction of youth to drugs in the provinces. She was a member of the Committee on Cultural and Religious affairs in Wolesi Jirga 2005.

Fahima Sadat is close to Jamiat-e-Islami and Balkh Governor Ustad Atta.
