3. Biodata:
Qazi Sahedullah Abu Aman, son of Barat Muhammad, was born in 1940 in the village of Khum Mir Yaftal Balie in Badakhshan province. He began his education in 1948 and completed his studies in 1963. From 1963 to 1973, he worked in the Badakhshan Department of Education. From 1974 to 1992, he worked in the judicial sector. He was later appointed as director of the Department of Agriculture in Badakhshan. In 1979, 1980 and 1996 he went to Saudi Arabia for the Haj pilgrimage. In 1982 and 1986 he immigrated to Pakistan and in 1989 he visited Iran as part of a delegation to seek support for the mujahideen. Abu Aman served in high ranking posts, and in addition to his official duty he was secretary of the Islamic Scholars Council of Badakhshan. For eight years he was representative of six districts in central Badakhshan. Abu Aman retired in 2003. He is the recipient of several certificates and bonuses from the Office of the President. Abu Aman was indirectly elected to the Meshrano Jirga. He is married and has two children.
