3. Biodata:
ramazan_ahmad_shahAhmad Shah Ramazan, son of Ramazan, was born in 1969 in Balkh province. He hails from a family of traders. His grandfather Shah Hussein, his father Ramazan and his elder brother Ashraf Ramazan were nationally known Afghan businessmen. He completed his secondary education at Bakhtar High School in Mazar-e Sharif and his higher education at the University of Tashkent, Uzbekistan where he studied engineering. Ahmad Shah Ramazan is a businessman and a capable entrepreneur. He has managed a foreign commercial company. Ramazan owns tissue paper factories in Kabul and Mazar-i-Sharif and runs hotels and restaurants called Hamsafar, Marco Polo, and Ashraf Ramazan.

He called the special court President Karzai convened to adjudicate the results of last year's (2010) disputed Parliamentary election illegal and said it should be dissolved. He is member of the Parliamentary group Sada-i-Adalat, which means "Voice of Justice." Feeling his life threatened in Afghanistan, Ramazan has 21 security guards. He said: "Some leaders in Afghanistan don’t want to have rivals and threaten lives of people like me. Everyone knows who these leaders are."(20110903)

He is said to be close to Khalili and Mohaqiq.

Ramazan has travelled to more than 40 countries. Ahmadshah Ramazan was one of the 34 by the President (Karzai) nominated Members of the Meshrano Jirga. He was not elected. He is the brother of successful parliamentary candidate Ashraf Ramazan, who was gunned down by unidentified assailants just before the official announcement of the results. Ramazan’s supporters had staged several noisy demonstrations to press the government for the appointment of his brother to the upper house. Ramazan bagged most votes during Wolesi Jirga Election 2010.  Ahmad Shah Ramazan is a member and the Chairperson of the National Economy and Budget Commimission 2010.

Ahmad Shah Ramazan bagged 12,002 votes in Wolesi Jirga 2018 election and got a seat in WJ 2018.

Ahmad Shah Ramazan was elected as the Second Deputy Speaker of the House by securing 119 votes.(20190702)

Ramazan lives in a luxurious three-story house in the Kart-e-Char locality of Kabul.
 

The Attorney General's Office reported that Ahmad Shah Ramazan and Nasima Niazai two members of Afghanistan’s Wolesi Jirga have been referred to the Anti-Corruption Commission for providing misleading information about the registration of their assets. An investigation is underway to determine the real assets of these members of parliament. The anti-corruption commission has said that the suspects should come and provide clarification about the millions of Afs in their bank accounts.(20210225)


He is married and has three sons.
