Rahmani_Aref_UstadUstad Muhammad Arif Rahmani was born in 1975, in the Qarabagh district, Ghazni province. Rahmani studied at an Islamic religious school and seminary In Iran from 1989-1999. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Islamic Education and Law from the Markaz Jahan Ulom Islami University in 2007. Currently (2012) he is a student of Azad private university in Kabul where he is completing his master’s degree inthe same field. Rahmani has spent the majority of his career working for newspapers and cultural organizations.

Ustad Muhammad Arif Rahmani Aref Rehmanii s close to Harakat-e-Islami and was elected into Wolesi Jirga 2010. He bagged 6.864 votes.

Rahmani, is a leading Afghan politician, a senior advisor to the Afghan government, an expert on Islamic jurisprudence and Afghan political parties.Rahmani was among four MPs (20110209) who had submitted their nominations for the Wolesi Jirga Speakers slot (Farhad Azimi from Balkh, Gul Badshah Majidi from Paktia, Mohammad Arif Rahmani from Ghazni and Saleh Mohammad Saljoqi from Herat)
 

"In the case of the foreign troops' hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan, Taliban militants will return and recapture the country," Arif  Rahmani said, adding that "the speedy withdrawal would eventually lead to the collapse of this static government or the return of Taliban and there is no third option."(20120305)
