3. Biodata:
qasemi_ibrahimWakil Mohammad Ibrahim Qasimi was born 1956 in Kabul Province but hails from Behsood Bihsood District of Maidan Wardak Province. Qasemi went to Mahmoud Tarzy High School (grade 12) and therafter studied at the Faculty of Economic University Kabul (grade 5). He is a senior member of the economics faculty at Kabul University. He fought in the jihad from 1979 to 1983. It is said that he has lived in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. There he had a job as a Automative manager. He is living in Kabul now.
He was a member and the Chairman of the Petitions and Complaints Commission in Wolesi Jirga 2005. In Wolesi Jirga Election 2010 he bagged 7th most votes in Kabul.
The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs on 20131019 introduced eight individuals to Wolesi Jirga to replace seven members standing down in the run up to the April 5, 2014 elections and one deceased female lawmaker.They replaced resigning MPs including Syed Ishaq Gillani, Syed Hussain Anwari, Abdul Rab Rassoul Sayyaf, Mohammad Mohaqqiq, Shah Abdul Ahad Afzali, Syed Hussain Alami Balkhi, Ibrahim Qasmi and deceased female lawmaker from western Herat, Shehnaz Himmati, who has  died in a road crash in neighbouring Iran.(20131019)
Qasemi is the founder of Kateb Higher Education Institute.

In 2014 Presidential Election Abdul Qayum Karzai, the former president’s older brother, presented as his running mates former Afghan mines minister Wahidullah Shahrani and former lawmaker Ibrahim Qasemi. (20131125)

According to directorate of information and public relations for administrative affairs and secretariat of ministerial council, based on suggestion of advisory office for National Security Council, the president has approved appointment of Mohammad Ibrahim Qasimi as second deputy National Security Council.(20150422)
