3. Biodata:
Hamidullah Qalandarzai was born in Surkh Rod district of Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan. Qalandarzai completed his primary education at Rahimi Primary School in Surkh Rod district of Nangarhar. In 1984, he graducated from Nangarhar High School. In the same year he was admitted to the Faculty of Engineering of Nangarhar University and graduated with a a degree in engineering in 1989. Nearly a dozen civil society organizations and tribal councils in southeastern Khost province in September 12, 2009 accused provincial administration of incompetence and demanded its reformation. In this regard a gathering involving members of tribal solidarity council, ulema council, mujahideen council, besides disables union, youth commission, trade union, athlete committee, journalists association and others was held here. The participants complained against the closure of the Governor's House for last several months. They said Governor Hamidullah Qalandarzai has been residing at his home somewhere else. They asked governor to re-open his office or otherwise resign. However, in a press conference, the governor rejected allegations against him. He said the doors of the Governor's House were opened for every one.
