3.Biodata:
Pashtoon_KhalidKhalid Pashtoon, son of Bashir Ahmad Pashtun, was born 1959 in Kandahar Province and hails from Barakzai Tribe. He is related to President Karzai through marriage. High school graduate. Pashton completed his primary education at the Tajrubawi School and his secondary education at Zahir Shahi High School in Kandahar. In 1981 he immigrated to the United States and enrolled in Watterson College in California, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business and Management.

Pashton taught at the Tajrubawi School from 1979-1980. From 1980-1981, he worked in a government office as an accountant. After graduating from college in the United States, he worked as the manager of a computer company and then in the American banking industry. In 2001, he began his own business in the United States. After returning to Afghanistan, he was appointed head of the Department for Foreign Affairs in Kandahar, and the political representative of Southern Kandahar. He was also a spokesperson and political advisor to the Governor of Kandahar. He owns a prominent construction company in Kandahar.

In 2003, Pashton participated in the Constitutional Loya Jirga. 

Pashtun is an American Citicen who used to sell cars in New Mexico. He is an opportunist who works for both sides of the game for personal power and wealth. Pashton was elected to parliament in 2005 with 10,448 votes. He held the Deputy chair of internal security committee in Wolesi Jirga 2005. In December 2009 said Khalid Pashtoon, that Tabliban in the shadow government are running the country now.

He did not win outright in the 2010 elections,47 but claimed his seat when another candidate was disqualified. He was elected to be First Deputy Speaker of the Wolesi Jirga in 2011. Pashton is close to Nangarhar governor Gul Agha Sherzai and was his campaign manager for the 2009 presidential election until Sherzai decided to withdraw from the race.Wolesi Jirga 2010 resumed the election for its 1st Deputy speaker.  Khalid Pashtoon was to compete for the position. On 20110305 he got 102 votes and failed. The Lower House elected Pakhtun as a Deputy Speaker in Wolesi Jirga 2010 on 20110506. He was elected in the second round and bagged 144 votes out of 215 present MPs.
