Usmani_Ahmad_SediqSidiq Sadiq Sediq Sedeeq Ahmad Usmani Khawja Sediq Ahmad Osmani son of Mir Muhammad Osman was born 1952 in Parwan Province. Osmani graduated from Numan High School in Parvan in 1970 and completed his bachelor’s degree in Science from Kabul University in 1975. Khwaja Seddiq Ahmad Usmani (Parwan) was a former governor of Parwan with the Islamic State of Afghanistan (ISA). He is the elder brother of the Minister for Counter-Narcotics and former Minister of the Interior, Zarar Muqbil Moqbel.

Osmani worked as a supervisor of Mathematics and Physics in Kunduz province from 1976 to 1980 and as a supervisor in Kabul from 1980 to 1984. From 1984 to 1989 he taught in Kabul. He left the teaching field in 1989 to run a construction company.

He was a member of the Committee on finance and budget in Wolesi Jirga 2005.

Osmani was an unsuccessful Candidate for Chairmanship of the Wolesi Jirga 2010. He is known to be a Karzai supporter.
